SMR SN 3000 series housings are designed for spherical roller bearings of series 230. The housings are developed to accommodate bearings with tapered bores mounted on adapter sleeves suitable for plain shafts.
They can be configured for locating (fixed) and non-locating (free) bearing arrangements. Cast from high-grade grey cast iron, with S.G. iron available on request for highly loaded conditions.
Can be set up as locating or non-locating bearing arrangements using locating rings.
FS type felt seals provide dependable grease retention and low drag.
Equipped with lifting eye bolts from size 30 for safe crane handling.
Special end-covers can be supplied for housings placed at shaft ends.
Felt strip seals - standard configuration for grease lubrication.
Locks the wide bearing axially to prevent movement.
Cast end-covers close the shaft ends safely.
Allows fresh grease injection directly to the bearing raceway.
