SMR SN series plummer blocks are designed for general engineering applications where bearings are subjected to moderate loads and speeds and work within relatively clean and temperate environments.
SN housings are of the split type and are standard-equipped with felt seals. For housings where bearings are to be axially located, locating rings can be inserted. Horizontal labyrinth seals can also be supplied on request.
Enables easy installation and maintenance of the bearing and shaft assembly.
Provided as standard. Very effective for grease retention and dust exclusion in clean environments.
Locating rings can be inserted to secure the bearing axially in the housing seating.
Can be supplied with horizontal labyrinth seals for use in dusty or dirty environments.
FS type felt strips - economical grease retention in clean, dry environments.
Metal labyrinth rings - recommended for high speeds and dusty atmospheres.
Locating rings used to create a locating (fixed) bearing arrangement.
Grease nipples can be fitted on the cap on request for relubrication.
